New Custom Shop Choices

I was going to buy a 112 CS, But now... Looks like I'm going back to BP and buying a 102 and a 105 smooth bone... Better deal... :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Those BP knives are a good deal and I order from there and Cabela's frequently. For perspective however, I can get a CS 110, Black Oxide 154CM, Heritage Walnut over brass or nickel, for $101.00, which is not a bad deal, IMO.
 
As near as I can remember, the current prices are the same as those originally listed several months ago when the tar was being heated and the feathers readied, and, at that time, we were informed those prices had been entered in error, hence the subsequent reduction (i.e., "hiccup"). It would not appear that perhaps those prices might have been correct after all. Like DarrylS, I'm thinking about going back to handguns!
 
Just last wednesday I ordered a Custom Shoppe 110:
S30V, nickle-silver, indigo scales, leather pouch = $91.00

Today (just two days later) that same knife is $117.00. :thumbdn:
 
I just spoke with Pete at Buck. He was really blown away as he viewed the custom site with me over the phone. He was sure something was wrong with the pricing & double increases on some items. He was going to look into it and call me back once he knows what has happened. He seemed really concerned. There might be some light at the end of this dark tunnel.
I will post again when Pete calls me back.
 
...My old vinyl 45's used skip and play over and over at the same spot too...I tossed 'em...:D
