420HC, as things go now, after my one year 110 thing is up, this one will be my user.

The more I use 420HC from Buck daily, the more respect I have for it!

...I do love the "snob steels" but Lordie, that 420HC as Buck treats it is some great stuff to use on a daily basis...

I recently started a new career - trying to re-edge my Spydie Native S30V with a 'Sharpmaker' (ceramic). It's better - but not back to it's original condition. I really need F & UF diamond sharpeners. I've re-edged several Bucks over the years - wow! 420HC holds an edge - yet is easily re-edged - great blade material. Kershaws 440A is easily re-edged - never as sharp as Buck's 420HC, however. Unlike the Vic SAK SS material - it really seems soft - the edge seems to roll. That 420HC is great - only the uninformed turn their noses up at it!

American Walnut and Nickel Silver!

It looks great, I will have to do a better photo, it is so muggy and humid outside here, my camera lens kept glazing over with the humidity.
