So much for proofing my posts. Just got a mammoth mnandi. This was my first experience with mammoth and it takes the already top notch craftsmanship of Chris reeve up another level. What a great material. It will be difficult to work with another material after getting used to this. Out of curiosity, how well will mammoth wear compared to other materials?

Its tough, but no natural materials will be as tough as micarta, G-10, etc...
I treat mine like bone, stag, and other natural materials.

Not an owner of one yet, but looking . From what I understand they hold up pretty well. Probably not a good idea to bounce it off the concrete too many times. Seems like most people wipe them down with some mineral oil from time to time to keep them from getting brittle.
