New DC pix, story and deal.

Very pretty rig.

Dunno how exposure's handled with the DC, but pix looks "overexposed". Light blade and handle seem pretty washed out at this end. Maybe less direct light would help?

You didn't let the old haunted camera touch the new one did you??:)

Hey, second try was a lot better. Large blade shows very well. Are you using a built-in flash on the camera? That may be more likely to bounce back as glare.

Gotta say that the brown leather and bone handle look really great together.

The story. Stevensee, a forumite and fine fellow from France, asked me as a special favor to him to try to get him a kothimoda khukuri in a plain scabbard. This is it. The problem is Steve has disappeared. He doesn't show up on the forum and his email no longer works. I didn't collect in advance which is probably a mistake on my part. What to do?

All I know is sell the knife off and if Steve ever shows up again try to get another one for him.

The knife. It's our flagship khukuri, the Kothomoda made by Bura who is the only guy in the shop who makes them.

I'ts 17 inches + a little and about 23 ounces of as nice a khukuri as you can find. Bura cures the bone for the handle and gives special attention to this model. Everything is perfect. Silver mounted.

Price for this one only model is $250. If you order today Samten can probably get it shipped tomorrow.

The camera works pretty well. I've got to get some decent lighting figured out and become more familiar with the camera. It beats the old one all to hell.

Call (today only) or email

Uncle Bill,
I'll take it! Will have check in the mail tomorrow if that's okay?
Same address as always, the shop in North Salt Lake.
Mike
