New dealer introduction!

Another very happy and satisfied customer of Brian's here. The phenolic/handle material market can be sketchy at times but Brian is a dealer who represents with integrity and honesty.

Thank you, Jason!

Any chance that BEAUTIFUL, medium back pocket you made features the vintage, green canvas I sent? I’ve been wondering how it finishes. :)

Such beautiful material! I have a nice little chuck I’m saving for something special. :)

That nice green has been super hard to find. In my hunt, I did find the guy that bought a lot of green canvas from Bob Loveless back in the day though. That particular material tends to age more brown because of the molybdenum added to it though.

Another happy customer here. This is some of the International Paper lined micarta. Very nice shade of yellow with a green stripe. Good luck to you Brian!!

Eric

I’m glad you liked it, Eric! It’ll be awhile yet, but I have a little something, something I’m working on for ya. 😉

Alright, I finally through in the towel with the secondhand drum sander I’ve been tinkering with. Someone with more patience is coming to take it off my hands in a few days. 😂

I have a brand new, Super Max 16-32 (which I have some experience with) coming in tomorrow. Much higher quality wood scales should be coming real soon!

The Super Max 16-32 is a great drum sander, I used to work at a woodcraft and we sold those and the jet and it wasn’t even a comparison between them, the jet was a toy and the Super Max a production machine. Anytime someone wanted to run short parts like scales I’d often recommend hot gluing or double sided taping them down to a plywood sled to avoid rounding the corners of the part, you can fit quite a few scales on a sled and run them very easily.

Thanks for the tip!

Funny you should mention the Jet. The machine I was working with was a Jet 10-20. Not a fan.
