I think it might be an illusion from part of the bolster being a little more dry than the rest.

I think that makes sense being having a place for you thumb would be a little unconventional
 
Must be difficult for the proprietor of KSF to get batches of these and other very nice knives and then turn around and list them for sale. WAY too much temptation for me.
 
He must pay someone else to suffer through the handling, photographing, and cataloging of those knives...

It's a tough job, but someone has to do it.

aaaaaaand my Kephart army grows by one. That is a really nice looking batch, I almost took that Bushcrafter until I saw the Keppy on the second page. KSF has a really good eye for photographing them.

Glad you like them. We had to improvise today because the light box was at the new shop already.
We used the next best thing natural light and trailer used to haul everything away

Hey Tekton. I got in too much of a rush when I saw the ironwood Bushcrafter and just snagged it up. I cannot remember any specs and apparently the site does not store that info. I only know that is (insert expletive) nice!!

Skystorm, got any pics of the rest of the Kephart army? I would like to see them in the user pics thread. I have a couple so far and like them very much. The red one you got looks great.
