Even after seeing dozens of dyed elder burls from Bark River, this has to be the nicest piece of elder burl I have seen.

Ok so on one of the dealer sites they have the thickness of a WAS knife as .156" so is this a 1/8 or 5/32 ? It is also a CPM 154.

I believe .156 equals 5/32. .125 equals 1/8.

Hey Bush.Hacker, I picked up the BC Sr at KSF which I am going to compare with the 12/30 FF one. It seems to have a very high grind and thin taper, so I wanted to see how it balances and feels in the hand. I will let you know first (before any use) if it leaves my young but growing family of fiddlebacks.
