Fiddleback Outpost is a separate business entity from Fiddleback Forge. It was started by some of Andy's crazier friends (that's pretty scary isn't it) just the next town over from his shop. We originally named it "Fiddleback Outpost" (with Andy's permission) as a nod to the core product that we'd be carrying (Fiddleback Forge knives). Andy even let us use the spider from his logo, although we did a new logo of our own that we'll be rolling out everywhere tomorrow. We're also expanding beyond Andy's knives by adding blades from other manufacturers, starting with Osprey and other that have/are working with Andy. We're also putting a very dedicated effort into sheaths, trying to stock as many pouch, pocket sheaths, etc. for as many different Fiddleback Forge and other fixed blades as possible. Definitely check out our website to see what we're carrying and sign up for the newsletter as we put exclusive offers through that (such as our first Osprey knife). We're even doing some crazy bandoleer (bandolier?) with shotgun shell holders on the front and a 16" Fiddleback Forge Machete on the back. Just crazy.

Andy (and all of the guys at the shop) has been a huge supported of our business and, without him, this wouldn't have happened. He lets us raid his shop almost weekly to get new stock and the profits the store is churning are being dumped back into new stock. We have a large, growing presence on Facebook and Instagram that has daily updates as well.

For me, shopping at the outpost is a great way to find that beautiful FF knife without the anxiety and pressure of trying to shark one through the Friday sale... and with the new knife/sheath offerings it's a one stop shopping trip!

That's the feedback that we like to hear!

Heads up that there seems to be a Bushfinger feast at USA Made Blade (9 listed, 8 available)

Looks like some other new ones popped on there last night also. I'm really torn on the Flame Box Elder Burl Esquire too because its 3/32 and it would probably go nicely with my Amboyna burl Mamushi.

Hi All,

I just wanted to share a +1 for USA Made Blade on super fast shipping, awesome communication and great customer service.

There was a good number of Bushfingers that recently landed on the site and I was stoked to score a 3/32" Bushfinger since they seem to be few and far between. I purchased the knife on Thursday and it arrived in record time on Saturday. Normally, one would expect an arrival of maybe Monday to Wednesday the following week. Now nothing against the knife, the maker or seller but when I received the Bushfinger, the handle was quite a bit more wide than those on my other two Bushfingers and I simply have a personal preference for a more narrow handle. Although I really wanted a 3/32 Bushfinger and also highly dislike returning knives, I contacted Scott (Whitty) via email asking about return/exchange options. He replied within two minutes that it was no problem whatsoever and I could return the Bushfinger for a full refund. I returned the knife, got the refund and he even followed up to make sure I got the refund.

I'd definitely buy again from USA Made Blade! Its also a bonus being able to shop Fiddlebacks, Surls, OKT and Fletcher all in one place. Starting with the Mission Statement, you should definitely give them a close look. http://www.usamadeblade.com/aboutus.sc

On a positive note, I know there are folks here that do like a wider handle as well as a thinner blade. If you're looking for a really nice wide-handled 3/32" Bushfinger, it's still available. Here are some pics comparing the USA Made Blade Evergreen Burlap over black/white stripes to my 5/32" TT and 1/8" TT Bushfingers.

The Usamadeblade guys are all about the customer. I too bought a Bushfinger from they last week and received it in two days. Could not be happier with the service and the knife is amazing. Personally, I love the thicker handle and my Bushfinger has perfect ergonomics

Why oh why did there have to be white pinstripes on that KOA HB!?!? Beautiful knife but I'm allergic to that white. I'm sure it won't last long.

Tempting really tempting! But yeah I'd prefer no white on this one.

That Tangerine Shank disappeared quick! What nice looking blade

Sorry, there are some Shanks sitting out at dealers for quite some time but that Tangerine just looked too good to give it a second thought! And it will go nice with my WAS Tangerine Shark.

The shank is a sweet little profile. Extend the guard on some thicker stock and you got a nice EDC/defensive tool, or remove the guard and and use some thinner stock for a great food prep knife and more. I had one in thick 3/16" with a needle point that was an amazing knife. Though I did nothing but admire it, someone admired it more and was more likely to take it and and cut stuff with it so I passed it along. It's one of those models whose pattern seems to be hanging on the wall collecting dust here lately, but it's a good one.

Hey Danny, I really love the Sapphire swedged shank I was able to acquire from your collection. And like you I hesitate to carry it...But for now it's a great show-and-tell. I'm going to send it to Jason for a fitted sheath and we'll see if I can carry it [and not use it] Sorry I missed that tangerine one..I'm told it lasted every bit of 15 minutes!

Just how long will this Fiddletextured "hiking buddy" from Blade 2016 last at Arizona Custom Knives?
