I'm not sure what I am gonna call these yet. A few months ago I accidentally added some 1" wide bar stock to my order from Aldo and I finally came up with a design that would fit on the bar. Any smudges that you see on the blades are just from me touching them and will wipe right off. I will put a light coat of oil on the knives before I ship them out so the 2 with micarta scales will be 1 uniform color before they get shipped out. Let me know what you guys think!
Prices include paypal fees and shipping. Each knife will be shipped in a leather sheath made by Scott Davidson. My paypal is jsfleming15@yahoo.com

Jarrett,
#1 & #2 really tickle my fancy...heck all four seem to be great 'bird-n-trout' knives. I did a quick search on you (were your ears burning?) and found that you do your own heat treat on the D2. Have you had any tested for RC hardness? What routine do you follow? I guess what I'm asking is: is your HT a tried and true method or are you using a BBQ? Sorry to be so blunt, but #1 & #2 are calling to me and I like to be sure of my purchases.

Thanks everyone.

Russ I do all of my heat treating in an even heat kiln. I mainly work with CPM D2 and CPM 154 and have never had a blade come back to me for a ht error. I don't have a hardness tester but I have had one of my D2 blades tested at another knife makers shop. The hardness of that particular blade was 61. I hope that answers your question.
Thanks,
Jarrett

They look great. The ergo's are perfect , they feel great in the hand. They will make a great little bird and trout knife, even a good steak knife. Scott

Yes Jarret that answered my questions (and Scott's comments helped too)...I'll take number 1, send me PP info, or an invoice and I'll send payment in the morning.
Best,
Russel

I'll take #3 please.

I have to say, rediscovering the forums here is going to be bad for my pocketbook!

Thanks Russel payment received I will ship your knife out this afternoon.

I will mark knife #3 as SPF for you tysercom.

ETA: Knife #3 is sold

Those bone scales on that design are just beautiful!! I love the knife design. It would be GREAT for camping. If this hit 4" length with a stainless like AEB-L, it would be a great kitchen knife. Do you have any plans? I really would like to get in on this design with those scales. The mosaics are a good touch. Just WOW!

Thanks for the kind comments guys.

tac4me I could make you one with camel bone scales with a 4" blade in CPM 154. If you are interested just let me know!

I bought a great knife, in 3v, made by Jarrett Fleming, about one year ago. A wonderful knife.
