Hey guys,
This one is a new design for me. It is a nessmuk style skinner. I really love this blade and am almost tempted to keep it for myself! It's one of my favorite knives that I have made so far and I'm happy to add this design to my lineup. The handles are also something new. They were made out of a firehose by fod which is really cool! The handle material didn't turn out like I expected though. No matter how much I sanded I couldn't get rid of all of the fuzz from the firehose so they look kind of weird, but they are very grippy which is great for a skinner! Fod makes excellent handle materials and I will be using some coffee bag micarta on some upcoming projects. Anyways here are some specs
Knife #1
CPM D2 blade
1/8" thick
Hollow ground
Satin grinds and mill scale flats
Firehose handles with a white g10 liner and black micarta liner
Black micarta pins and tube
OAL: 8.5" Edge 3.75"
Price $175

Knife#2
CPM D2 blade
1/8" thick
Hollow ground
Satin grinds and mill scale flats
Black canvas micarta handles with a blue liner and black micarta liner
OAL: 10" Edge: bit over 4.75"

These need a home guys. Both of these knives are razor sharp and ready to work!
I dropped the prices a bit this will be the only price drop.
The nessmuk skinner is $175 now and the poon tip hunter is $200.

Thanks stabber the nessmuk is going to make someone happy (or me a great skinning knife if it doesn't sell) and you are right the handles are definitely different. When I saw them on Fod's sells thread I just had to try them!
