I like the shape. How big are the finger choils?

I have found that if you have more than one, they need to be big so they fit many peoples hands. And not just my small woman sized hands.
 
If it is a double grind ( I can't tell from your picture) it looks like it will make a great looking tactical. Frank
 
Is that a ground in scallop at the forward choil, or is it scale from ht? If it's ground, how are you doing the scales?

Which steel? Looks nice. I like the hamon.
