New design

Everyone wanted a handle on the knife like the mid tech model # 2. The mid tech model # 2 sells for $299.00 at this time.

Let's say this one is a "crude" tool for "crude" missions....
If someone wants to, he might add paracord or so on....

Bobby, I love your knives! Who could not love anything in the Walter Brend tradition. However, as someone who has seen action in the middle east since the Iran/Iraq war, and happens to spend all of his down time riding horses in the owens valley of California, I would have to say that this is not a good design for me. Temperature considerations alone would prohibit me from buying this one. I can be in 115 degree temps one day, and up at the base of Mount Whitney for the weekend, and considerably cooler temps. You can never go wrong with the design of the blade, but I would have to agree with others that to bring the price down I would use o1 or 1095, and keep the ergos of the Brend handle. That is part of my attraction to the knives in the first place. Believe me when I say that 17 years in the military dealing with both Navy and Marine Corps personnel, they will have no idea what s30v is and d2 sounds like a bad Terminator movie.
