New designs ?

I Doubt the 14/24 since they just did that in D2 to fill that gap. Would love to see some tweeners that way but price point is one of Becker knives big selling points, and they are concerned (rightfully so based on the sales of the s30v 7) that they just wont move enough of them fast enough based on the increase they would need to charge to make them profitable. Now places like Massdorp might be able to make something like that happen with enough people buying in to pay for a sprint run. Who knows. From what I understand if we got 250 people locked in to buy Kabar would actually make money, and would be willing to consider such a thing. I would pay the mark up for a super steel 15 for sure. Probably for a 16 or 17 too.

Large stainless blades don't make much sense
Smaller stainless blades are much more usefull
Since tge bk24 is discontinued a bk 34 in s35vn to replace it would be wicked

Would love to see the Grass Machete with Becker handles personally. There hasnt been a proper machete in the Becker line up in a while. Although if I could have any knife made as a Becker special knife it would be the BK-5 with a 13 or so inch blade and a slightly elongated Becker grip, done in a good tough steel that could take abuse at that length and thickness.

I would love to see a 9 released without the swedge and angle near the point. It chews up my batons and I use my 9 for mostly splitting wood.

A smooth drop-point with a full thickness spine all the way would be much preferred!!

I agree !
Why not make it 10 inch and .25 thick ?
It would also help splitting and chopping

lol, I see what you did there. The BK20 has the same issues though, the swedge and sharp angle near right where I use a baton. I don't know that I want or need the .25. That can get a bit heavy. When I start using, it can be for hours. The added weight can make for a rough day.

Yup I thought I was smart... for a second LOL
You are right about the swedge... not always needed

oh yes.

new designs in the works.

however, can't talk about them.

you won't know they exist until you can buy them.

usually.

If your lucky you can find an early version of the camillus bk9. On the super early versions they didn't grind the swedge.

Made this design change to the 9 some time ago. I like it this way as well:

I was thinking about this yesterday.
Tweener handle, BK16 blade with an extra 1" in length and extra 1/4" in width, high saber grind similar to the 12 or the Cam 11, stock thickness unchanged. No swedge.

Something between the 10 and 16. A tweener tweener

Any new becker designs in the works ?
I would love a stainless s35 vn bk14/24

No. Ethan decided to give up knives and focus on outfits for cats. All Becker production will cease and all models in circulation will be forcibly recalled and destroyed.

Now THAT sounds like a winner. Except I would prefer beefier handles than the tweeners.
