New Dishwasher Time

Try explaining that to your wives. :roll eyes:

Wives? I have one beautiful wife and that's more than enough for me! She knew going in that she was marring a knife maker and had already been a victim of my dressing her down for leaving one of my customs in the sink!:grumpy: I got over when she promised never to do it again. :D

We don't have a dish washer anyways here in our little beach apartment.

Im too lazy to wash a lot of dishes by hand so we run a load once, occasionally twice a week. Half of those are dog related dishes. Don't get me started.
As for knives, they get no special treatment. I have about 15 Cutco knives that have been going in the dishwasher for 42 years. Sent them back for sharpening last month (4th time in 42 years) and they replaced them all. Some did not need to be methinks. $480 worth of new knives for my $69 investment seems like a good deal to me. I'd buy them again before any German or Japanese daily users.

We have cats and I end up doing dishes by hand at least once or twice a day if I'm home simply because we use up all the small glass bowls on them. Wife never seems to notice until there aren't any left and there is a big pile in the sink. Can't stand dishes in the sink. Anyway, my wife claims that I do the dishes by hand as therapy. Don't know.... just can't stand the damn things in the sink.... Dishwashers are much slower than me on small jobs.
