Matt's a cool guy who makes really good knives
He makes GREAT knives, Lorien. People seem to miss that.

I introduced Joe to Matt, and it has worked out fabulously for both of them.

There is so much design and execution mastery on a Diskin knife that Matt makes look easy, in comparison to "peers", he is leading the pack.

There are extremely few custom knife makers in my collection that I own more than two knives from......Burt Foster(3), Chuck Gedraitis(3), Bill Harsey(4) Bill Ruple(3), David Mirabile(3), John W. Smith(3) and then there's Matt....I think I have 10. It's the largest unique Diskin collection on the planet, as each knife is truly different.

It's an honor and a pleasure. Here is a quick shot of most of them for viewing enjoyment. They are not now, nor will they ever be for sale while I am alive. I cherish these knives almost as much as I cherish my 25+ year-old friendship with Matt.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

Remember

Matt can do this

And this

Companies like Kershaw and Boker buy designs from him

He can do it all

I've always said DISKIN is the smartest guy in the room :)

His desire to always create something different and unique is what sets his work apart

Regretfully this leads to very limited availability

He only sells at the shows

This causes two effects

On the negative ....his work is very hard to get

On the positive ..... it holds its value and increases in value

What amazes me is that besides Matt I've probale handled more of the infamous FIRES than anyone

These knives are no longer made and imho the standard in the world of D/A Autos

They function near flawlessly

I've been edcing one for 5 years and it doesn't hiccup

So many makers carry a FIRE that it makes me smile :)

Gonna be a great show

Matt, should be burned at the stake for witchcraft ... or ... Treated to a steak for his handcraft.

Witch-ever he prefers.
