4", 0.156", 220 gr. caged ceramic bearings.
addition: the maker is the same, the designer is new. but we have a great guy, who makes such a great designs become true, that's what is important.

i NEVER thought about weight. though i am not very strong. i really never understood that weight thing. what i only see is a very strong, prybar-like looking, undestructible, awesome nice knife, ready for hard-use. while strider's shape never looked so. yes, zt 0550 looks more brutal, but it is NOT flipper and thickness, i had it, was NOT 4mm. no way. that is very pity. because it is my favourite design, and the only design i like from zt available, because they didn't make cagins on 0560, so it is not ok for hard-use, you can find "russian hard-use" video at youtube, big damage.

Maybe a good time to get a dealer membership, just saying.;):)

Eh, not my style really. Is that a lock bar stabilizer or some sort of bootleg RotoBlock?

That what it looks like ( rotoblock) I guess it may be ok but for the price I'd personally prefer a bit more style
The handle looks like a craftsman box cutter.

It's not much less styled than the very popular ZT 0801. I actually prefer the look of the D9, as well as the inclusion of stop-studs lacking in the 0801.

It does look heavy, which doesn't bother me. The flipper isn't a plus or minus for me as compared to an 0550 (one of my favorite blades).

My only two "cons":

1. I'm not familiar with the maker, so it's a $200 gamble to me.

2. I'm not a "deep carry only" guy, but that thing looks like it rides about 30% out of pocket. Whoa...

It looks like just about every other crappy titanium-prybar knife out there these days that is made in china and shilled on this board by someone who can barely speak English with a postcount of around 5-10. These posts pop up approx. once a week. I can't believe anyone would waste their money on these PoS types of knives.

Looks like another blade with a super thick blade stock and an edge angle that needs to be thinned out and made more acute. These are the knives I hate to sharpen because they almost always cut poorly. If that remains true for this knife, I don't know of course since I don't have it in my hand. I think a lot of makers focus more on making a knife look rugged and heavy duty and end up forgetting to make one that actually cuts worth a rat's turd. Most novice owners won't notice this because most novice owners don't have experience with a blade that is actually sharp. They see something that looks expensive and forget the first most intended use of a knife is to cut something.

And barring they don't forget, they think cutting paper is sharp. But there's continuum in sharpness. How cleanly does it cut paper and with how much effort? And that's only paper. Whittling hair...now that's sharp.

I will say that having to take an edge back by 15-20 degrees inclusive (7.5 to 10 degrees a side) is a test of my patience as well as my sharpening stones. Ruined some stones last time I had to fix a friend's knife that an unnamed maker sent out dull. It came with a near 60 degree inclusive edge, which is even more than the 15-20 degrees I just mentioned. I ended up taking it down to 24 degrees inclusive, 12 degrees per side. If you're going to make a pry bar, make a pry bar. If you're going to make a knife, make a knife. If you're going to make a folding pry bar, it better do both excellently.

That said, the knife does look like it has excellent fit and finish.

What's wrong with that? I appreciate that people come here and point out new designs and knives. This is a knife forum.

Also, I don't know why you would dismiss something like this outright and insult it. If these specs are anywhere near accurate, this is an *extremely* high-value knife at the suggested price of 200$. Caged ceramic bearings, full titanium, good looking design, S35VN, and I don't think it's a full-on production model (As in, it's more "custom" or "mid-tech" like.).
