New Doug Ritter folder

Found it. Not sure how reputable the source is but also no reason to beleive they are wrong. I dont know how to post it without violating the rules about linking to pages who dont support the forum. So here is a copy paste

Finally! KnifeWorks is pleased to announce Doug Ritter's long-awaited RSK Mk1 and Mini-RSK Mk1 with Bohler-Uddeholm M390 third-generation powder metallurgy high carbon stainless steel, finished with Doug's exclusive heavy stonewash. Hardened and tempered to HRC 60-62, this evolutionary high-tech blade steel offers improved edge holding, greater toughness and higher corrosion resistance. Even better, the RSK Mk1 with M390 steel is an even more incredible value at only $5 more than the original!”

When my mother sold the house, my nieces and nephews were absolutely fascinated by the turntable hooked to the stereo — and the vinyl records that went with it. I gave them a demonstration and they happily loaded it all into their car.

Thread drift, I know, but nothing much to say about the new Ritter yet...

If I remember correctly that was the selling blurb for the Benchmade Doug Ritter Griptilian after it switched from S30V steel to M390. So doesn’t have any bearing on the Hogue version.

Doug has already stated that he wants to focus on the full size version for the time being, and that he has no plans to put out a mini version currently.

We need to change Doug's mind. What is there to focus on? The blade profile is the same as the Benchmade version. Have Hogue engineer/design the smaller handle and start cranking them out!

Did you receive it yet?

I placed my order on October 10, and still haven't heard a peep. Not even a tracking number.

Have most of you who placed a pre-order received yours, and did you get an email with tracking confirmation? Seems strange that people who placed an order weeks after I did are getting theirs
And that’s exactly why I haven’t pulled the trigger .

They told me there were 297 units preparing for shipment. Once those we're all sent out, and after they received another batch, mine would be shipped.

I'm assuming, as others have stated, that KW only receives "small" batches, one at a time. If I get my order before Christmas, I'll be happy. However, I probably wouldn't have made a pre-order if I'd known it would take several months to get it. Simply because it's the end of the year and I could use the extra fundage.

When I pre-ordered, KW didn’t charge my credit card until the knife shipped. You may still have that extra funds!

When did they tell you this? Does the 297 units represent the first batch or is this one they just got in during the past week?
