New DP T-Shirts

I just realized I had too much gear, (I know I didn't think that was possible either) and now this.....yup just checked and I don't have enough folders. I have the HEST, so I am definitely looking forward to a DPx folder. Any chance of a sneak peek? maybe some specs?

Doesn't hurt to ask right?

You'd never thought of Peru as dangerous?

I had realised more or less as soon as I started researching the place that it wasn't going to be as safe as being at home (where nothing interesting ever happens), but didn't expect to be put in the same league as somalia, afganistan and zimbabwe.

I'm a southern boy...I hate Grits, but love the HEST shirt (maybe we could get a IZULA shirt made).

Last time RYP and I were at a Waffle House a waitress tried to hire me to kill her ex!

did you take the job? :D

third world country = cash is king. carry bribe money and you'll be safe  and yes, sex is allowed in the champagne room.

I hate to do it Adam but I have to call BS on this one. A "normal" southern Waffle House waitress is 6' 3" 240 with a full beard and mustache and could play middle linebacker for any SEC football team. In other words you would have ate the grits one of 2 ways ass kicked or not ass kicked but you would have ate the damn grits :D.

IDK, here there is usually one pretty, young waitress at each one... at least long enough to get the crap scared out of them and then decide they'd rather work elsewhere. The ones that stay long term pretty much have to be scary don't ya think?

Lol, walk into a local cantina dressed in a nice suit, wearing an expensive watch, carrying a satellite phone and a fancy brief case... tell the staff you are an upper-level executive with Exxon and would like something to eat and are looking for a place to stay and watch how quickly things get really interesting :D

not much hope there, it's more of a "dirty trousers and T-shirt, rucksack and several weeks facial hair" type trip.

is it true that the north of the country is the dodgiest bit? I now know the shining path are still active up that way.

I would avoid overland travel on the road from Lima to Tingo Maria, especailly at night. SL has been kicking back up a bit over the past few years

far as I know we fly into lima, then fly straight to cuzco, and then finish going nazca-lima.
it's a group trip, which should help.

You'll be safe as in your mother's arms there.
