This one is made from 3/16 1095 with convex grind,3/8" black Micarta scales with the dreaded red liners that some don't like, aluminum tubing pins,I tied a square braid lanyard for this one.The handle should be plenty enough for the biggest hand, such as mine. The sheath is Kydex with a belt loop. This knife weighs in at 13 ozs.,put your hand in the lanyard and slide your hand back and you can do some serious chopping:DSpecs: 9 7/8" oal--blade 5" to scales--width 1 7/8" at the widest-Thanks for looking MBG--120.00 inc postage and fees-Paypal preferred [email ]bjsilver1126@yahoo.com[ Price drop-110.00 ttl. This knife is SPF-Thanks for all your comments-Regards Butch

yeah buddy! That handle LOCKS in your hand. I have felt it myself :)

Man you do some sweet work Butch !!!!

I'd like to see a similar version where the bottom of the handle just follows a progressive arc from front to back if you get what I mean !

Thanks Pit,do you mean without the finger groove?Regards Butch

I like the finger groove very much. I have one of Butch's knives that's very similar to this one, same shape, different handle material. While I have not used it yet, I love how it fits my hand. It just feels very secure. I look forward to taking it on my next hunting trip. It is an excellent knife, and I would recommend one to anyone.
I can guarantee this knife will look much better in person, as it is impossible to capture the quality in an image.

Cool. I dig the red liners btw, but apparently my wallet doesn't. :grumpy: Excellent job with this one, someone is going to be very happy.
