New EDC pattern in XHP and Premium Curly Koa

I have been working on a new EDC pattern for a while, slightly larger than the small one I've been doing lately. I had a bit of extra room on a block of the high grade Koa that I got from burl source, so I took a couple slices to use on the intro knife for this pattern.

What makes this Koa so special is not just that it is curly (which is fairly common), but that it is curly combined with very rich, deep colors.

3" Hollow ground drop point blade, 7" OAL
CTS-XHP @ 60RC, .157" thick
slight convex bevel stropped to shaving sharp
Premium Curly Koa stabilized by K&G, Black G10 Bolsters
416ss hardware
4.6oz

$150 shipped, $165 shipped with custom made leather sheath

Thanks Russ. The sheepsfoot version is going up for sale in the morning, but this is the only one that will be getting this high grade koa. I only have a little bit and the rest is already spoken for.

It's sort of an introductory price. I'm going to shoot for $150 w/sheath on the "production" versions of these. Gonna try to do a few at a time so I can keep them affordable for edc use.

This is a nice one. I like the contrast of the black g10 bolsters with the wood. Looks like it would make a good EDC.

The knife is beautiful and a very practical blade shape. I would love to see this with a slightly longer blade for a bushcraft/small hunting knife. If you make such a knife Im sold.
 
Thanks for the comments. I'm really happy I waited a bit before pushing these out. They really work nicely.

I'm still trying to finish up the sheepsfoot before the sun goes down, I can't find my darn pin stock so I've been tearing through the shop and no luck yet.
 
Wow! Beautiful knife. Usually when I see a knife, I think "if only it had..., or if only it didn't have...", but this is almost perfect. The only flaw is that it doesn't belong to me! Would you consider making another?

If you are looking at Koa, I can still get very good Koa, just not this exact stuff. I also have some other very nice options. If you like, shoot me a message.
