new edc: vg-10 or 154cm?

I think that the steel competition between 154CM and VG-10 is a draw. I highly doubt that you would see any practical difference between the two.

I would make my choice based on handling and blade shape.
 
I don't think it matters. I've had so much good experience with vg-10 and practically none with 154-CM. I've sharpened it before however and it has taken a ridiculous edge.
 
The mini grip you were looking at has the Axis lock, while the Viele II you have the liner lock. Like I told you, both are great. It would be a tough decision for me as well. Feel free to come back in and feel them again. I'll be back in store on Monday. :D
