New edc

So I think I'm leaning towards the caly with zdp, but then I saw the sage in carbon fiber and seeing as it's Cheeper I was wondering about your opinion on that as well

Couldn't have said it much better myself. That 2.5-3" length I've found to be thee sweet spot for control, yet accomplishing what you really need in an average EDC. I also agree that the Manix 2 LW is awesome in the hand, but it's HUGE in the pocket, has no more usable edge than the Delica, and that fat(wide-tall) blade is not going to allow for the same usefulness as the Delica's tapered one.

I'm one of the minority who does not care for the feel of the Para in my hand. Hotspots, and particularly the butt-end is annoying against my palm.
 
Man that orange delica is so sweet, it was a toss up between that and the native 4. I chose the native and carry it every day at work, and I love it. It is kind of like the swole cousin to the delica in my opinion. Outstanding blade.

I just sold a sage 2. It does not have the typical ergos of other spydercos and I couldn't deal with that. It was a beautiful knife but the ergos of it closed are totally off if you ask me.

I sold it and got back a ukpk and a flashlight and I still have money leftover.

Which I'm debating adding some cash to and getting a custom neck knife, caly 3.5 or another delica.
 
Both are great knives, certain people like to carry smaller knives which is fine, but I can carry a wide variety and enjoy big knives just as much. The para is about double the price so it really comes down to what size and weight you want. I have not owned a para, but do enjoy them. The Delicas have served me great though and I would recommend them to anyone.
 
I like both knives a lot but I do carry the delica more . If you are going to use the knife hard I would go with PM2 . Better lock .
