New elmax, what about the can?

Has anyone heard an update on elmax process of maybe removing the can? I remember a couple months ago it was talked about but right now everybody is out of it..Any updates?

I've been told the can problem has been resolved.

When our Elmax shipment arrives, we will test the steel to determine if the can has been removed.

Chuck, when do you expect it and do you have plans on stocking M390?

That would be nice to see m390 back in stock. And good news on the elmax because that Can is a pain in the a** I wouldn't buy elmax again with the can onto it. Still have a half of sheet to surface grind down and it sticks to belts like crap.

I hope to have Elmax back in stock around the end of November.

We do not plan to buy more M390 until we have ensured Elmax does not have a HIP can.
