Hello,

Well i finally got most of my shop relocated,
some of the equipment i had to put in storage for a few weeks until i can have it shipped but the bulk of it made it here, atleast enough to finish up my back work that i had to put off for a few months. I will be getting the orders i had started finished off and the video tapes i had to do finished and sent off in the next 2 weeks.
I appreciate the understanding from everyone on me being out of the knifemaking scene for a bit but i had no choice for sanitys sake.

My new email is allendotc0m@aol.com and new
phone number is 1-410-272-8342

If you have stuff ordered and paid for it is going to be finished first after i get the shop set up and then i will start on my orders that are backordered then i have plans to introduce some neat new hand satin finished small to medium everyday carry stuff.

again thanks, Allen Blade

Most of the knifemaker's shops I've been in seem to be more the result of many years of randomness than of any plan. Stuff just sort of seems to find a place. You ask, "have you got a screwdriver handy?" and the maker, instead of going to what obviously looks like a tool box, pulls an old card board box out from under a pile of other stuff and produces the screwdriver for you. When you ask about damascus blanks, then he opens the tool box.

So, Allen has an interesting and unique opportunity here. He's an established maker, he knows what he's doing, he has his work habits and patterns well-established, and he gets to set up a new shop from scratch! So, I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the new facility.

ALLEN,
Good to hear you are getting settled in... A move is a great opportunity to start fresh, put ideas into action and look ahead... always remember yesterday is past, you can't change it, but today, well you set the limits.
with friendship,
Rick
