I just saw this on the EKI site. I think this might make a very good folding bushcraft knife. At least in the plain edge. Without alot of hassle you could probably grind that bevel into a scandi.

I love Emerson folders for EDC, and I will definitely be picking one of those up. Looks like an awesome design.

I found a SHOT Show pic of another new Emerson called the Bushman. It was designed as a hunting knife and also looks like a great field folder.

I saw that one too. Looks like there will be at least one more new one at Shot, but I can't find the pic yet.
 
I think it is the mini version of the CQC8, yet another knife I've wanted!
 
Yep, that's what it is. Looks like EKI is putting out a few real good outdoor blades this year.
 
Cool thing about the Bushman is the added bottle opener :)


Although one would think with Cold Steel having a knife called Bushman , Emerson woulda chose a different name.

Maybe something like - Wildebeast.
