I am planning to go to this event but wondered if I had to do anything other than show up and pay the fee. Are there any requirements or pre registration necessary.
 
If you are talking about Ashokan, yes, there is a fee (to be determined still but usually around $250) and pre-registration is a must. The form (when posted) will be here http://www.cashenblades.com/Ashokan.html and checks will be sent to the campus itself. Hope this helps.
 
Sorry for the unclear post, I am talking about the one at the new england school of metal work in Auburn Maine, it is July 17th through 19th. I know a few guys from this board stated they are going.
 
I pre-registered but suspect that they'll be happy to take money at the door. I'm sure that ABS membership or prior experience are NOT required. The ABS is an educational organization and take that very seriously.

They're also a very friendly and helpful bunch of people.
