New Erickson

Congrats Mike.

I too have become a huge fan of Ken and his work. Gotten more use out of his and Kerry's knife that I purchased this year more so than the rest of the of the knives that have wandered into the fold.

I second what Gus just said. Ken and Kerry's have both been in my pocket everyday. I won't take them out until I get another one from Kerry (and it's going to be a doozy). Then I'll just switch out my 2 knifehead knives every other day ;)

Great Erickson:thumbup: I've got a special one coming in a few days and I can't wait. I think Ken will be posting some pics soon.

Ken and Friends,

What a Great looking knife! We are all pretty lucky that Ken and Kerry and making fantastic knives. It looks like some of the Bose influence is coming through..and it looks real good!

Ken and Kerry, both of you guys are moving up the "knife pyamid" real fast. Pretty quick the Old Dog will be calling you guys and say ...Slow Down! :D Ha!

I am very glad that we have new knifemakers putting out a great product.

Kent

Mike and I were exchanging comments about your work yesterday. It's my opinion that you are making knives that are in a class that are exceptional. This is due to the fact that you are capturing the look of the "old masterpieces". Rounded over handles and blades with bold swedges...these are signature elements of knives that came from the old cutlery companies that have ALMOST been forgotten had it not been for a certain hero of ours :).

...I'm getting vehclempt... :o:D Anyway, keep up the excellent(I hate to call it) work.:thumbup:

Kerry, that's very well said. And it's heartening to know that due to the hard work being put in by folks like yourself, Ken and a handful of very talented others who come to mind, those of us who appreciate such fine workmanship will still have avenues to explore for years to come. Thank you both (and all).:cool:

I agree. The proportions, aesthetics and positioning on all your knives looks right, like (better than?) the old Sheffield masters. More than simply eye candy, you really get the spirit of the knife.

Mike,
That's a beauty. I've been fortunate enough to obtain two of Ken's knives and they are incredible. Actually I have three, but one is a fixed blade from early in his career, about 2003 - 2004 time frame. There has been noticeable progress ;).

Ken,
Keep up the excellent work! And stay warm up there!

Kerry,
Get that backlog whittled down so more of us can place orders. :D
I'm missing one of yours. . .
I could fix that toenail for you.
Or let you drive, OK let's not get carried away, give you a ride in my car.

Bill
