New ESEE 3 and 4 models with modified handles

I haven't seen this posted yet and to my understanding all ESEE posts go in the General Discussion, so I just wanted to see what you guys thought about the new models of the ESEE 3 and 4. They've done away with the choil and modified the handle design, and will be shipping with leather sheaths. Seems to have addressed the most common issues I've heard with regards to the ESEE 4. What do you guys think?

I'm sure this will make some very happy. I like the 3 & 4 the way they are with canvas micarta or TKC g10. I would not want a leather sheath. I'm sure these will sell though.
 
Having never been interested in the ESEE 3/4 before (because of the smaller handles), this puts them back on my radar again. They did exactly what I would have done, just removed the bit between the choil and the rest of the handle. Looks great.

Hmm, how much are ESEE 3's again?

Had a 3mil at one point but the handle was too small and thin so I sold it. I was going to get the camplore dc6, but may just get a 4...it will be very stiff competition for a BK16...especially with an included leather sheath!
 
Wow..i really like the new handles on these. My buddy had a older 3 and i just didn't like the feel of the handle but I'm going to have to try one of those.
 
Really like the looks of these. Not sure that I'd want a leather sheath either. I've held off on getting an ESEE for a long time, and now glad that I've waited.
