Is that Bicycle tubing around the tin? And anyone know where I can buy the whistle that comes with the knife pack? One of my dogs chewed it :\

Yes, they are simply cut up inner tubes. They work great for securing all kinds of gear, plus a little piece will burn for a geed while to help get a wet fire going.
