Here, from the Blade Show, is the new FB1 and the new sheath.

Flat grind, satin finish, conventional edge - very sharp in this specimen. The sheath has a removable belt clip that can be shifted up, down, and sideways.

A real beaut!

I think we have the first tactical FB from Spyderco.

Thanks, James.

I have been resisting, but, wow, I don't think that I shall much longer. So many knives, such little money!

The new Moran is very nice. Should probably get two -- one to use and one to match the old Moran as collector's items.

The new kydex is definitely a user over the old leather sheath. Curious... which maufacturer for that.

What an ugly sheath!!

... well it's just my opinion... leather is always leather - and way better looking than that, er, thing.

Pretty sharp knife. Is that the tip poking through at the bottom?

Can the clip be adjusted for horizontal carry?

Sing - Tim Wegner is making the sheaths.

Harri - sorry. For Spyderco, performance will always out weigh appearance.

James - thanx for the photos.

Sal:

This would be a good headline for an advertisement. This is the sort of thing I love to hear from the CEO of a knife company.
