We started with a 1.5" x 1/4" x 18" piece of 1084 stock. after shaping with a lot of forge work, sanding polishing, etc, we ended up with a long, light fighting bowie. Specs are 19 1/4" overall. 13.5" blade. 12.25" cutting edge. 1084 steel hidden tang blade. 5160 hand guard, Burmese Rosewood handles. Weight is 21 oz. Its fast and quick, and should be a good fighter. Without further ado, the pictures

Cool, want to say so ugly there beautiful! It can be hard to pull off the primitive look, but looks like you nailed it. One good thing about the forged finish, people tend to not be afraid of using them and maybe getting a scratch.

There are things I like and don't like on both knives. Im not happy with the guard to cutting edge transition or the tip on the fighter, or the butt cap on the camp bowie. But 20-30 yrs from now I can look at them and remever some fond memories of my dad since hes getting on up in years.

Couple more pictures
