I am selling this new finish firebreak at a reduced price. I am asking SOLD delivered in the US. Normally they go for $450. Here is the write-up

Here is a classic firebreak available with the new finish I have started doing. Though not truly a "new" finish the application is new. I have begun bead blasting the blade which in turn brings out the Hamon. I began doing this to provide and interesting look but speed things up a bit and thus keep prices down. The amount of time it was taking to polish these blades out in the normal manner was causing a problem making any money from these knives. The last customer asked specifically for the bead blasted finish. I was surprised with the results. Also a traditional finish would be marred quickly under normal use and would take even more time to refinish. This finish can be redone easily.

Stats on this knife.

11.25" of W-2 Steel. The blade at the guard is almost a full .25". Fixtures are 416 with copper and stainless spacers. Handle is black canvas micarta.

That's a bargain price for an awesome tool. Shouldn't last long. I still can't believe you can bead a blast a hamon!

Thanks Scott

I could not believe it either. That is the natural bead blast, no masking at all. Just the difference in hardness from edge to spine.

Ive bead blasted a few hamon knives and you do get some nice results, as long as the blasting media isnt too coarse.

Great buy here!

Damn & blast! Another knifey thing that I have to put on my shopping list. Not this one though - more to come I'm guessing... This is a great looking tool that would get a lot of use.

do you have any more up close pictures of the knife/handle? what are the overall specs? length, weight, etc thanks... looks amazing.

The handle is 5.5 inches. I do not have the weight att. I will have to go weigh it. I will post weight and verify oal and post again.

As always the first i'll take it or earliest pm gets it.

Thanks again for looking
