For some time I have been trying to figure out how to offer knives that are still quality cutters and at the same time try and get the money down all I can. In the past all of my knives come with a good hand rubbed satin finish. There is a lot of labor in this type of blade finish. What I have here is a good
"belt brush finish". This equals less time and about 15 % less money.

Price each is $157.00 This includes shipping by USPS Priority Mail to US

AFTER GOING BACK TO THE SHOP AND DOING SOME MORE FIGURING I AM GOING TO SELL THIS BATCH OF KNIVES FOR.......... $145.00 EACH........, SHIPPED. THIS MAY BE ONE TIME ONLY, WE WILL JUST HAVE TO SEE.

I accept checks, postal money orders and Paypal. There is no fee added for paypal customers.

Thanks for looking

David, you have succeeded!!

A most excellent knife for the price point. There is no denying the quality of execution.

David: I'll take a Model 26. Went home at lunch to measure my Model 12, and figure this will be a good companion. I am sending the money to your Red Holly address and it should arrive in a couple of days from Florence, Al with my contact info. Gotta keep my wife off the scent.:D Btw, if you don't own a Winston knife, do yourself a favor. Regards, Bradley

David:

Good for you. You are really helping out the people who want a great ED user. IMO it would be difficult, if not impossible, to find more knife for the money.

Thanks Charlie. I have struggled with this for quite a while. I know times are hard for most everyone. I have tried a few things to get the cost down and none of it worked. So far this is the best thing I have come up with. It takes me a long time to hand rub a blade so I knew if I could cut this out I would be on to something. I am happy with the finish but I know it can be done better. I still hand finish the flats and the spine. I am still making the blades out of the same barstock and doing the same heat treat so the cut should stay the same.

Anyhow,......................if somebody else can take care of putting a chicken in every pot I will try to put a knife on every belt. :)

My knife came today and is fantastic. David's knives are 1st class and I consider myself lucky to have a few. Thanks again, Bradley ps These are a bargain!

David did make a second batch a while ago. I missed out on the 1st batch, but scored a very nice knife from the 2nd batch.
