Oooh, I am loving that! The stonewash looks great as does the new blade design! Are you doing your secondary bevels differently now? I thought the carbodizing used to be on the left-hand side...

Anodize it! :D

Thanks! The secondary bevel is different (opposite side) on this one, I did the mini cleavers that way as well. I find it very versatile and incredibly easy to sharpen. Good eye!

Nice!
Your chef creativity comes out in your knives.

Thanks Lycosa! You know me for sure. Like food knives can be functional art. :D (now if my work is... lol that's up to you guys!)

With the carbidizing on the beveled side, wouldn't sharpening the flat side create some sort of backbevel on that chisel?

Finish on this one is just the way I like it, matte, and stonewash hides the use marks!
Great job!

Yes, if you look you can see a small bevel. I have a Snody Boss that is ground that way, it is a very versatile and easy to sharpen grind.

Let me know if that works for you, I am shipping it out soon.

Thanks! The stonewashed finish is great for hiding scratches, it is one of my favorite finishes.

I am impressed with the other Ti finishes too, I have not scratched an anodized knife yet! It is a serious pain to grind off even.

One thing about a stonewashed finish I did not know before I did any... the knife has to have a perfect finish or the stonewash will make every grinding mark bigger!

This one is oxidized too, it leaves a layer the same as anodizing so it helps even more with durability. Up close you can see a bit of colors but it is mostly grey. I am very happy with the finish!

So I just strop the flat side? That works for me.

That is pretty much it. Cutting cardboard will do as well!

That will do the trick for maintenance, for sharpening use diamond or ceramic on the microbevel and strop the carbidized side.

I have no email or pm contact for you, please contact me if you can.
