Okay, since nobody was will to step up and talk me out of it I went ahead and stonewashed the bevel. My wife says I need to get the Christams tree up today 🌲 so time is limited. Since I decided this knife is for me I want to get to cutting!
BTW- here's what I used for the orange peel.

The nail polish was dried out so I used this paint marker I had. A test piece had me believe it would serve as a good resist.

Boy I was wrong!!
I normally use ceramic triangles for my stonewash but bought these ceramics thinking it would give me shorter scratches.

Wrong again!!! What it did give was a nice subtle finish that I think suits this knife well.
