New FOGO folder??????

230--- Yup, I will have an American Kami Frickie with a Combat Waki blade. The Wakifrickie. :D

I just got a new A.G Russell catalog today and on page 36 is a near twin of the knife that began this post. This one has a 3.5 inch blade of V-10 and weighs just 1.4 oz. The list price is $125.
The scales are pakkawood over stainless liners. Seems to be a nice traveling gents steak knife.
But I'm happy with my EDC Emerson Persian with which I have been slicing up some warmed up left over steak and potatoes before the wife feeds it all to the dogs. (I'll slip 'em some anyway!)
If the restaurant I'm in can't supply a suitable steak knife, I can...real gentlemanly like.

A Busse frame lock folder..............

Kinda makes the heart skip a beat doesn't it??? ;);)

Come on Jerry, how long before you take us out of our misery?

.
Here is a great idea, a personal folding steak knife! These are supposedly very popular in Japan. This one is made by Kershaw and is in their Shun line of knives. It has a 4" blade made of .104" thick VG-10 stainless and is 9.25" OAL. It has a great feel to it.

How about it Jerry, here is a folder to make!!!!

I like it; I would advocate for it; I would buy it.:thumbup::thumbup::D

That is a great looking folder for a steak knife!

But that Carbon Fiber on the Cultie is the heat!!!
I also liked your stag one, but this is the first time I've seen this one, looks great:thumbup:

I think Tim and the rest of us Hogs n Piglets and Scappy do's need the "Busse Folder!!!!":p:D

Ya know...I've never been a fan of liner locks, but I got a chance to handle this:

And now it's in my pocket.

Next in line is this, and a tactical version of same knife:

A Busse would be nice, but there are WAYYYY too many great makers out there to hold my breath for one. Ymmv.

I'm feeling that Shun, Tim. Thanks for sharing.

Tim, I have a skeleton key that would make a great candidate for a similar folder.

Also, I want the stag culti:) You know I have since blade 2008. F=Bring it to blade:)

+1, I like framelocks, but I've seen liner locks from some of the best fail and fold into the fingers of 2 of my good friends, one had gloves, the other had stitches. Im with 230 here, if its a Busse Folder it should be hard use and hold firm next to the fixed blades. Make em tough like the RAO, CF's, XM-18's, etc...stronger even! :D

Put me and my older brother in that list as well. I got off lucky. He had to have surgery and almost lost he use of his right thumb.

Both liner locks. (I have had 2 different liner locks fold under almost no pressure and cut me).

I have also used liner locks that felt nice and solid.

Any who,

Bring on the infi folder.

Thin folder, thick folder, who cares.

JERRYS GOING TO MAKE A HARD CORE FOLDER!!!! BRING IT BOSSMAN!!!:thumbup::thumbup:
