Recently there was a thread on wax finishes and concoctions of wax and other stuff.... Some used a wax on Ironwood, some didn't.
Is yours a straight finish and buff or do you finish it with a wax or an oil or something?

This ironwood came out pretty good. Sometimes, it gets weird on me. These scales are flat as flat can be. Zero curl. I use Watco danish oil on woods these days. I used to use polyurethane oil, but I ran out and forgot where I got it. I know what you are thinking, and yes, I meant to say polyurethane OIL. It came in a generic white plastic bottle, and you wiped it on like you would any wiping oil. So anyway, other than the Watco, I use a couple coats of Butcher's Bowling Alley Wax, and spit shine it in.
