Forgive my intrusion, but I'd say that handle material looks like tiger coral. And some very nice tiger coral at that.

The knives, by the way, look great, as do the pictures of them.
 
Wow Andrew, that damascus folder is a really beautiful knife. I like the other folder too, but that first one is great. The scales and the damascus work perfectly together.

Thanks guys! Yep, the scales are tiger coral. The damascus is from a piece of five bar twist I made with Cliff Parker. Thanks for looking.
 
Yeah, I love that tiger coral. I have Andrew's eighth knife that he made and it has Eggerling mosaic bolsters and Daryl Meir damascus blade with tiger coral handles. Andrew's work is flawless. I am lucky enough to live about an hour from Andrew. Can't wait to see some more of his knives at table 18-b at the Blade.
