I wanted to make a smaller friction folder that would fit nicely in the pocket without the need for a sheath, and without a lot of bells and whistles that I could offer at a lower cost, and this is what I came up with.
This little guy is 3" closed(not counting curl and extention)5" open, with a 2" blade.Blade steel is 1095 with an aged finish, backspacer is fileworked mild steel, red brass liners and weathered barn oak scales. Pivot pin is steel, with copper handle pins and overlay.
I will offer these in a different scale material such as curly maple and walnut, and of course weathered oak, as well as options of a sheath, bolsters, ect...

John thats a Beautiful knife! I love the rustic look, If that thing was mine I would show it to everybody!!!!

Very attractive little guy. I'd love to see a picture in hand. I like the twisted extension and curl. Very nice touches on what you call a no-frills knife :D.

Thanks Nathan! I do admit it is not exactly "no frills", but it is toned down some ,for me anyway. My daughter says I could'nt do "plain and simple" if I had to:D!
