New Folder

Great looking folder, Don. That mammoth bark is outstanding. You turned out a winner for sure!

Absolutely Stunning! That truly is some fantastic Mammoth Ivory. Very nice compliment on the damascus too.

If this folder was a condiment, it would be wasabi. WOW! There is a LOT going on visually.

I'd attribute this mish-mosh of patterns and textures to a n00bie. Despite this, DH3 comes along and knocks it out of the stadium.

LOL!

Nicely done, buddy. You can get away with murder at your level! :D

I'm not even going to mention the rest of the knife.
There's more time, labor and expertise in making the material for this bolster than most makers put into their entire knives.

Fantastic, Don.

Wow,

Only you can make a knife with ivory like that look so good.

Really nice

Cliff, I know you would like to tackle some ivory like this. :D

Thanks Coop, sameness can be too boring for me. :D

Fantastic, Don.
Thanks Karl, Mosaics are not so hard, just very time consuming. :D

This is possibly my favorite folder from DHIII
The sunken full length spine, when in the closed position is not easily done and Don did this one superbly. Everybody else pretty well covered the awesome bolsters and ivory.

My oh my...What a gorgeous knife! I think you have this knifemaking thing pretty much figured out.

I never get tired of seeing a DHIII folder and the amazing ivory he chooses to compliment the package. Great job, Don!

Don,

Every time I open one of your threads, I expect to see an outstanding piece of art with clean traditional, functional lines.

Still, you manage to surprise me almost every time.

This piece is just mind-blowing. Thanks for sharing.

Brian

Stunning..

I am jealous of the new owner.

Respect.
