This is something I have been working on for a while, and just got around to finishing up recently.
It actually all started out as some odds and ends I had around the shop and this is what I came up with. I really like the way it turned out, not too bad I guess for some left over pieces!!!
overall length is 6 3/4" long
hatchet head is 5 1/4" long made of 3/16" o1 tool steel
The frame on is 2 pieces of .100 titanium with another piece of o1 in between the ti at the bottom of the handle
Handle is fine twill carbon fiber with red liners and every thing is fastened together with stainless screws. ( note that everything is permanently fastened together)
All steel parts are hand sanded to a 1200 grit satin finish!
Now this thing is not made to go out and chop down a tree but it will do some serious damage and look good doing it too!!!
I am asking $sold delivered to the CONUS all international shipping will be extra...
If you like I can make a leather belt sheath for it but you will need to add $25 to the price!
