I can click on the tab on the left hand side of the homepage....but then it is blank. Must mean they will be coming any hour or day now. Although what a tease that is. Cold Steel should have waited to put the link up until the products were ready to upload on there. Still it is progress!

We're all working round the clock on the new product launch and the new catalog as we speak - we're also working on two completely new PROOF DVDs for launch very soon
It's going to be a very exciting year!
Trust me, it's worth the wait ;)

I have a feeling this is going to be a great year for Cold Steel. I have a Large Recon 1 Clip Point and an American Lawman on the way to me now. I missed them so much after I sold all of mine. These will round out my daily EDC of my mini-AK47 and Kudu. (And yes I will be carrying them all at once).

I'm really hoping for an folder in an upgraded steel. I don't have any cold steel knives but I would spring for a Demko designed folder in 3V

I've started a thread here on our sub-forum and I'll be uploading new items as they get released
The new Warcraft is up right now :)

Me too, that Bowie is great. I have a feeling that the first batch is going to go very quickly.

I thought I was getting that Frontier Bowie, till I saw the MSRP of $200. $200 for 1055 steel and wood handles? Yeah, pass. When I can get a Condor blade in 1075 steel and wood handles for under $60, I just can't justify this much for 1055 steel no matter how awesome it looks.

The Recon Scout has an MSRP of $200 and you can find it for under $100 online.

You can find it for right under $100, but it's also a knife that's been out several years. By the time this Bowie drops down that low we'll be looking at the 2016 catalog.

And again, even at $100 that's overpriced for 1055.

That is very true about the dates. Also, if the knife was without a fuller or the hand guard, (don't know about the sheath yet) I might agree about the price. I'm no expert in the field but I would imagine that fitting the guard alone would drive up production cost. I suppose that time will tell if is worth the price or not.

At sub $100, I'd probably still consider it overpriced(again, I'm used to Condor putting out some AWESOME products, using superior steel, for around $60) but might buy it anyway since it does look really sweet. Soooo I guess I'll give it a couple years and pick one up then, heh.

Oh where are these made? I could see the price being so high if CS had started making these in the US...

Rosewood handle, 1055 blade, looks very sword-ish (note the giant saber-like fullers)...I'd say it's possible they're being made in India, like their western swords, though I have zero proof and may be totally wrong. Wherever it's made, I'll be picking one up asap. I don't think ~$100-120 for a 12.25" long .25" thick 1055 blade with a nice large S guard and hardwood scales is too outrageous.

I'm not going to lie, about 1/2 of the new 2014 lineup seem like they were made just to make me smile!

The pole arms! Can I even resist? Do I even want to try?

Say what you want about Cold Steel, but they know how to make a dude smile!

Condor Golok, 14 inch blade, hardwood scales, nice leather sheath, 1075 steel, $50...it is missing a big guard, which I guess is important if you do a lot of knife dueling, but I don't, so I don't consider it worth an extra $50.

I own Cold Steel and Condor. I will be shocked out of my mind if the CS bowie is not better in the fit/finish department.

Value wise, it will likely give any knife a run for its money.

Every Condor machete I own blows every Cold Steel machete I own out of the water 10 times over, so we'll see.

I was thinking in terms of some of the large knives and daggers from Windlass, CAS Iberia, the old Generation 2 stuff, etc., which run around the same price range for similar sizes, materials, etc. Sure, you can find cheaper yet quality items like the Condor stuff, but I'm just pointing out that the price is pretty par for the course compared to several other manufacturers.
