Classic lines and great craftsmanship. Beautiful sheath, too, 'though the marine theme might have been maintained better with a true seabird rather than a kingfisher. (Please excuse my naturalist background.)
 
Yes, it could have been ,but the guard decorations is crabs Palinurus vulgaris and Astacus astacus one lives in the sea ,the otherin the rivers.
 
Beautiful knife! I don't see a thumbstud hole or screw on the reverse side... did you weld it or do you have the screw hidden somehow?

Thank you very much , the blade is not completely punched ,it is bolted and glued .
