Ok so I'm building a new forge for my shop and i have a few questions. First off would you guys recommend I use ITC-100 or satanite or both to coat the inside of my forge. I have both on hand so price isnt an issue. Also i want to use the least amount of propane as possible and i still want to be able to reach a welding temp. should i use one burrner or two, it will be a vertical forge is that helps

Read the stickies on forges, as well as some of the many forge build threads.

You put in the refractory wool first, coat it with 1/4" to 3/8" of satanite, and after curing that put on a thin coat of ITC-100 as a reflective coating.
