just a follow-up, I love having the kershaw in my pocket all the time. it adds a new dimension, just knowing that it's there. this is a while new realm of experience for me and I'm very glad I've started on this road. it's a real art form. some observations, I am feeling that the blur has a really, really nice opening style, and locks up very nicely. the blade geometry is excellent. I feel that the handle is a little small for my taste, I would like for it to be thicker...and I am even leaning towards perhaps using a cyclone for a daily carry! the blur is awesome...but i'm wondering if a larger knife as a daily carry might be for me. I'm not really considering returning this nice blur, but is it somewhat common to have several knives and rotate them, or to vary carries depending on mood/activity etc.
I like having something even more substantial available...just my thoughts so far!
PS. any ideas on lanyards (necessary, good, bad), and thickening up the handle (changing the grip, adding tape/3m grip etc)
