As you all probably know, Bladeforums was moved last weekend to a new software platform. Everything should work like it did before, but may look slightly different. All of our threads, and pictures should still be there. Your PM's should have moved over as well.

Please let the forum staff know if there are issues with the forums. Please let us know if there are any technical issues with this forum.

And, I hope everyone had a great Easter.

I noticed that last links to specific posts aren't referencing correctly now. Not sure if that's an easy fix though.

Initially I wasn't sure what to think about the new forum, but it's starting to grow on me. I miss the thumbs up emoji though. Haha.
 
I've been trying to edit my fleamarket posts... no luck it just won't change but I haven't tried from a laptop yet

EDIT: now limited to 20 pics per post

Annnnnd check out that MultiQuote feature!! That's a time saver .. unless I missed a similar helpful feature with the old software.

one thing I have noticed w/ the new software......no ability for a regular member to "lock/unlock" their own thread. That's going to impact the "PREVIEW" portion of the Friday threads

Spark said he would look into a third party solution.

Suggestion in the meantime would be to have a preview thread where knives can't be claimed + post an actual sales thread at 3 Eastern. Redundant and makes for clutter and possible confusion but maybe the best option in the meantime?

Have you heard anything on being able to see who is currently looking at a forum or thread?
 
Has anyone figured out where / how to modify settings ? Specifically how to keep photos and/or avatars from loading ?

Click on Prom52 on the top right of the screen then click>>>>Preferences

It allows to disable Signatures but I did not see avatars

Phillip, I tried what you suggested. It did remove signatures however photos / images still show. Any clues on how to disable images to allow for a faster loading of a Fiddleback Friday thread ?

Depending on the browser you're using, you might be able to disable images at the browser level.

example using Chrome:
Open Chrome Settings
Scroll down and click on Show Advanced Settings
Under the Privacy section click on Content Settings
Under the Images section click the radio button for Do not show any images

When done, go back and click the other radio button for Show all images​

I am using Chrome so I'll give that a try.......thanks Jerry !
