How many of you have a smaller amount of PMs allowed? Spark mentioned in his thread that we are supposed to have more, but my limit is down to 50 max! Gold level members had 100 before!

Before you had ...let's just say 100 PM's..each w/ a received & sent message...now one conversation...is just 1 conversation. If I understand it correctly you can have 20 (arbitrary number) each way in 1 conversation

Spark's exact response
"
  • Private messaging has now become "Conversations" - private messages from before the move are still separated out as individual replies, but from today forward if you message someone, it will be a threaded conversation. PM quotas have been increased vastly as a result."

If you were conversing about a knife in the flea market.

You ask a question
They respond
You ask follow question
They respond again
You say I'll take it
They send you PayPal info
You say you paid
They say thanks.

Old software that's 8 PMs. New software that's 1 conversation. 50 of those which will probably be a lot more than the old 100 individual PMs.

The issue I had was that the import of all the old PMs pushed me over the limit since each one counted as a single conversation.

Selecting old ones and doing "Leave Conversation" will delete them.

Does anyone know if there is still a limit of 1 post per 60 seconds?

Edit: That was a test. There does not seem to be the limit of 1 per minute like there was with the old software.

Edit to the Edit: There seems to be a 30 second time period between posts.

Any idea what the file size limit is for photos? I tried uploading my original pic from my iPad and it said it was too large of a file for the system to process. I shrunk it with another app and the above picture is the "Full Size", lol. Not very big!

Spark is working on the image attachment stuff. Uploading a file doesn't allow the sizes an iPad or iPhone would normally send. Also, there's currently no easy way to manage your attachments.

Safest bet is to host them on an image hosting site for the time being.
