New Framelock

Spencer #4 came in today. Excellent design. I mean I can't really find anything wrong with it and I've been carefully looking for easily over 2 hours. Heck I've carried it for the at least the past four hours. It is very practical, light, but SOLID. The slim profile light weight makes it easy to carry that killer large blade in a pocket. The contours fill my hand comfortably and oddly the design appears to be so simple but I must say you have really shaped and assembled everything perfectly. I mean there is no friciton what so ever between the blade and the Ti or the G-10. There must be less than half a millimeter between the blade and the Ti or G-10. I can barely even see the space between the blade and these two materials up close. Very smooth action and the lock up is like a vault! I can easily see this as a quick, strong, durable folder, that can be an edc. The dimensions and weight make it easy to carry and easy to use. The pocket clip allows it to ride low and comfortably. It really throws you off at first. I'm use to people making folders like this that are like the first cell phones; a brick with an antenna. Imagine pocketing one of those. I haven't tried the bushing wrench yet (first thing I wanted to do too) but when I do I'll report in. My only complaint is that this is a limited run. I think more people would be as impressed as I am with this work horse. I'll be waiting and looking forward to the second line of folders you do as these actually surpassed my expectations. I knew they would be good but you really have to see them in person to appreciate the dimensions and design. Not like I would condone abuse on a knife but man does it look back at you and say "What, is that all you've got?".
Excellent job Spencer:thumbup: Great materials and design!!:thumbup:

JR glad you like it, even though its my first frame-lock I spent a great deal of time to ensure you did not get a "Brick with a antenna". Your quick evaluation was pretty good I never paid much attention to the clearance between frame and blade, concentrated on center.

You got some really great value, as the first few have been kept under priced to get them out there, and only the first 25 are going to be numbered.

I am banking on the fact that there are a few million 1911 owners and are known to be pretty fanatical about the sidearm.

As always there are things to improve but a guy has to start somewhere, with feedback like this from a person I never had any interaction with in the past speaks volumes to me.

Humbled and thanks
Spencer

Great folder, great design.
