Bonjour,

i'm back from the Eurosatory 2006 in Northern Paris where Olive and Jur just display the new Fred Perrin FB.
A pre production knife. But imagine this.
3,5 inches of the same street bowie VG 10 flat ground blade.
A full tang with soft micarta handle.
BEAUTIFUL !!!

Everyone who stop there asked first about that little FB !

Sure Fred "made his homeworks" and release with the Spyderteam a very serious keeny beauty !
I'll be there back some time this week. And I don't know if I will be allowed to picture it for you.
Also I need to see the sheath. (Should be also great!)

Keep an eye on that new fixed blade, it's going to be super hot !

Cheers

Nemo

That is great news. I am limited by law to under 4", so unfortunately the first incarnation wasn't legal to carry. :( I'll get one of the new versions for sure.

Thinking that one of those would make an excellent little steak knife. Am sure it would attract a lot less attention than my Stretch.

This one is way up on the list. I loved the full size but the smaller one should be even better IMO.Whats the handle material, the original poster mentioned"soft micarta"?

AFAIK, it will be Linen Micarta. That's what it looks like in the photo. I think perhaps by "soft" the OP may mean matte finish as opposed to polished.

That looks like a great design! I’m sure it will be a very handy little knife. For some reason, it reminds me of the venerable old Sharpfinger.

Yes, this kind of lil fixed blade has always been Fred's favorites !

They should be on the market by Fall and exclusively bought through Fred...
I don't where on the Internet they will be available.

IMHO that batch going to be lava hot.
This is a beauty !!!

Cheers

i like that also i might have to get one of them myself.

i had one of the older model perrins and really liked it.

It looks good. But Mr. Perrin's stuff always looks good, and is always built/designed to be used.
