I haven't placed an order for either one of these yet. Ken sent them to me last week so I thought I'd share. The bottom one was a winner at this years Blade show.
I think the workmanship on knives like these is breathtaking. The are only the occasional art knives that I find appealing. Of these, my preference is for the top one. As much work as the bottom one must have been, I just don't care for the lines.
Keith, we agree on something! The bottom knife doesn't trip my trigger, but the top one may become part of my family after, a little modification. Fluted "wave" or "feather" carved pearl would help, and I was also thinking about a heat blued blade, and some other touches.
